Rhye (Peninsula)

The peninsula of Rhye is a large, nearly sub-continent sized landmass attached to the greater continent of Avarth. It is named for the large city at its southern tip. The Ironspine Range of mountains runs north-south down the peninsula's interior, and the Brin River runs roughly parallel to the range along Rhye's eastern flank. It was considered the homeland of the once mighty Empire of Rhye, though with the collapse of the Empire a century ago, much of the lands have been depopulated.
